RussNeft in 2006 to Take up 25% of Moscow’s Retail Market – M.Gutseriev

RussNeft is going to take up in 2006 25% of Moscow’s retail market. This was announced at a press-conference by President of the company Mikhail Gutseriev.

According to him, presently RussNeft has nearly 102 gas-filling stations in Moscow. During 2006 RussNeft is looking to increase the network to 200 gas-filling stations. Mikhail Gutseriev explained that now the company possessed 35-40 ground areas for construction of retail outlets. Moreover the number of retail outlets can be increased just by buying them from other companies.
According to M.Gutseriev, 200 is an optimal number of petrol stations which will allow covering 25% of the market.
“Our gas-filling stations won’t be as good as those of TNK-BP, but better than all the rest,” said M.Gutseriev.
