In the near future RussNeft is going to make an offer to minority shareholders of the companies bought from TNK-BP. Of this reporters were informed by RussNeft President Mikhail Gutseriev.
This is to remind that on December 21 RussNeft completed a deal with TNK-BP on acquisition of Saratovneftegaz, Orenburgnefteprodukt, Orsk Refinery and Neftemaslozavod (Orenburg). The share of minority shareholders comes to several percentage points.
According to M.Gutseriev, they think about buying out these shares from minnows. Head of RussNeft noted that at the same time the cost of the shares in the minority holding is different from the price of the stake bought by RussNeft. In his opinion, “prices for 2% [shares] and 98% could not be the same”.
