"Oil and Gas Vertical"
NK RussNeft OAO is planning to cover 25% of the petroleum products retail market in Moscow and its province within 3 years by increasing the number of its retail outlets from 102 currently to 200. According to AK&M, the information was given by RussNeft President Mikhail Gutseriev.
According to him, the retail outlets are going to be up-to-date gas filling complexes “maybe not as good as those of BP’s, but better than those of other companies”. The head of the company also said that he could get some 40 plots for construction of new retail outlets.
After the company takes up 25% of Moscow’s market it is going to stop its expansion in the region, said M.Gutseriev.
Vice-President of RussNeft on Economics and Finances Olga Prozorovskaya said that in the current year the company had bought a retail network of petrol stations named Grand. The Grand petrol stations are taking part in Moscow’s government program “Clean Moscow”, and next year in the context of this program RussNeft is going to build in Moscow another 30 retail outlets after obtaining 30 plots for their construction. According to the Vice-President, the cost of one retail outlet ranges from $800 to $1.5 million.
