RussNeft to Invest in Saratov Region
The investments of RussNeft in the Saratov region will be higher than those of TNK(РТС: TNKO) –BP, reported in the press-release of RussNeft on the results of the meeting between President of the company Mikhail Gutseriev and Governor of the Saratov regions Pavel Ilatov.
“We’ve come to the Saratov region with serious intentions and for a long time. We intend to work hard, produce crude oil and increase volumes. We’ve discusses the issues pertaining to investments, taxes, social programs. Their level will be higher than that agreed with the previous company, TNK-BP,” the press-release cites M.Gutseriev.
He emphasized that the request voiced by the Governor relating to the salaries at Saratovneftegaz would be complied with and “the indexation will be higher than the inflationary expectation of this year”.
As reported earlier in the end of 2005 TNK-BP sold Saratovneftegaz producing nearly 1.6 million tons of crude oil to RussNeft.
