President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Head of Oil Company RussNeft OAO Mikhail Gutseriev discussed in Minsk today the matters of mutually beneficial cooperation between the republic and the holding company and outlined a course of RussNeft activity in Belarus.
As the company’s press-service informed, A.Lukashenko and M.Gutseriev discussed results and future actions of IP Slavneftekhim ZAO, a subsidiary of RussNeft operating in Belarus. In 2005 RussNeft delivered more than 1.5 million tons of crude oil to the refineries of Belarus which was two times as much as the showing of the previous year. Moreover, in the fourth quarter of 2005 RussNeft started regular deliveries of crude oil via its oil loading terminal in the Bryansk region.
Slavneftekhim is mostly engaged in refining crude oil and delivering petroleum products to consumers in Belarus. Moreover, the company supplies petrochemical enterprises of the country with hydrocarbon feed. Slavneftekhim also exports petroleum products to CIS, Eastern Europe and Baltic States.
RussNeft is a vertically integrated oil holding company structuring 30 producing entities, 3 refineries, 2 transport companies and a retail network comprising 300 gas-filling complexes.
The entities of the company are found in 17 regions of Russia and CIS. The total recoverable reserves of RussNeft exceed 630 million tons. Its annual oil output is 17 million tons, according to the results of 2005.
