Oil Company RussNeft and Administration of the Orenburg region have signed a cooperation agreement for 2006, the company said in a statement.
In the context of the agreement RussNeft undertakes to ensure full and timely tax payments to the local budgets, to improve ecological situation, and to participate in socially important projects of the Orenburg region. The total amount of taxes to be paid by the Company’s subsidiaries in 2006 will come to RUR500 million which is more than the last year rates.
Moreover, in the time period from the 1st of March to the 1st of November the Company is going to supply fuel to the farmers of the Orenburg region at 10% discount from the sale price. The scope of the fuel supplies in 2006 will come to 140 thousand tons which will in full meet the fuel requirements of the Orenburg region during the farming activities.
In the course of the agreement signing procedure President of RussNeft Mikhail Gutseriev said that the foreground tasks of the holding company were to develop and implement the investment and development project for Orsknefteorgsintez (ORFE). He pointed out that in 2006 Orsknefteorgsintez would be loaded to its full capacity, i.e. 5.5 million tons of feed.
