KhMAO and RussNeft Signed a Cooperation Agreement
The Government of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Region (KhMAO) signed Tuesday the cooperation agreement with Oil Company RussNeft OAO.
The agreement specifies priorities in the interaction between the Parties aimed at stable development of the local economy and successful operation of the company’s subsidiaries in the region.
RussNeft undertakes to make tax payments in the local budgets in full and due time, to improve the local environment, and to take part in Yugra’s social projects.
The main principles of the agreement are joint actions of the Parties aimed at further development of mineral and raw materials basis, rational utilization of the local natural resources, raising industrial and investment potential of Western Siberia and joint implementation of innovative projects.
In the structure of RussNeft there are 30 producing entities, 3 oil refineries, 2 transport companies and a modern retail network with 300 gas-filling complexes. The enterprises of the company are found in 17 regions of Russia and CIS. The company’s annual crude oil production amounts to 17 million tons.
