RussNeft to Increase Oil Production in Saratov Region – Governor
Oil Company RussNeft OAO controlling Saratovneftegaz OAO is going to increase its oil production in the Saratov region, said Governor of the region Pavel Ipatov.
“We are building very fruitful relationship with the new-coming business unit. If TNK-BP considered our region as a periphery, Gutseriev (RussNeft President Mikhail Gutseriev – ANI) is eyeing us with great enthusiasm. RussNeft is planning to increase the volume of the oil production in the Saratov region,” pointed out the governor.
The annual oil output of Saratovneftegaz comes to 1.6 million tons of crude.
As reported earlier in December, RussNeft finalized acquisition of several assets of TNK-BP including Saratovneftegaz OAO. Since December 22, 2005 the company has taken over the operational control of these assets.
