In 2006 RussNeft to Invest RUR 600 Million in Upgrade of Krasnodar Refinery
Krasnodar, May 15, Interfax – On Monday Governor of Krasnodar region Alexander Tkachov and President of RussNeft OAO Mikhail Gutseriev signed a cooperation agreement in Sochi, the regional administration informed Interfax.
According to the terms of the agreement the company is going to invest 600 million roubles in the revamp of ‘Krasnodar Refinery–Krasnodarekoneft’ ZAO. RussNeft is also going to support regional social projects.
At the agreement signing ceremony A.Tkachov expressed interest in the quickest upgrade of the refinery. He also stressed that the company should pay special attention to environmental safety at the Krasnodar Refinery.
RussNeft has assumed responsibility and operational control of the refinery with effect from January 2006.
