Penzaneft Wins Auction for Alexeyevskoye Oilfield
Penza – June 15. Interfax – NGDU Penzaneft OAO has become the winner at the auction for the right to use the subsoil of the Alexeyevskoye oilfield (found in the Kuznetsky district of the Penza region) with the object of exploration and crude oil extraction, the regional subsoil use agency of the Privolzhsk federal district says in a statement.
The company has offered 9.163 million roubles to pay for the oilfield, at that the starting payment was fixed at 8.33 million roubles. The bid increment amounted to 833 thousand roubles. Ulyanovskneft OAO also took part in the auction.
The winner of the auction has got the right of subsoil user to explore and produce crude oil at the oilfield for a time period of 20 years. The initial C1 oil in-place of the Alexeyevskoye oilfield is estimated to equal 579 thousand tons, the extractable reserves come to 168 thousand tons.
RussNeft owns 51% stake at Penzaneft.
