Oil Olympics Silver Medalists

The Udmurtian Republic was represented by the sportspersons of OAO Belkamneft, RussNeft major producing enterprise.
Although it was the first time Belkamneft’s representatives participated in the Olympics they proved to be the best in volleyball, tennis, and weight sport. In the team classification Udmurt oilers came in a close second, having left behind their counterparts from other regions. Volleyball team captain Kirill Solovyev was recognized as the best player of the encounter. Much attention is paid to sports in the company. Belkamneft employees participate both in corporate Olympics and All-Russian competitions successfully. Young sportspersons are backed up as well. Belkamneft is the primary sponsor of a physical culture school for children and youngsters.
