“Rovesnik” – oasis of children’s happiness

“Rovesnik” belongs to OAO Saratovneftegas  and is considered to be one of the best children’s camps in the region of Saratov. Those who invested a plenty of energy into its establishment were invited to celebrate the anniversary. That was a meeting of old friends and former colleagues who reminisced the days spent in the camp. Those who were now invited, 20 years ago participated in the construction of the living pavilions and planted the trees in the green of which the camp is now reveling.

- We were building “Rovesnik” by the efforts of the entire enterprise that is why we succesfully managed to meet the construction schedule,-  said Louzyanin Gennadiy S., who hold the post of the General Director of PO Saratovneftegas during the construction of the camp. – Our purpose was to create a homelike, comfortable camp meeting all demands of living conditions so that children could have a good rest there. And we managed to do it.

Today those children’s offsprings come to enjoy their holidays in “Rovesnik”. Moreover, apart from summer holidays children can also spend there their winter holidays where “elkas” (celebration of the New Year for chidren) are annually held. Up to 1200 children come to the camp every year; more than 25 thousand children have already spent their holidays in “Rovesnik” and more than 100 holiday shifts have been organised during the last 20 years. The camp provides good conditions to do sport, tourism, dancing, painting, singing, as well as to practice acting technique which the children managed to demonstrate to the guests at the concert dedicated to the anniversary on the camp. As a present a set of furniture for the living pavilions, tents and tourist equipment were offered to “Rovesnik” by Saratovneftegas and the children residing in the camp during the celebration  were given toys and sweets.

It is worth mentioning that Saratovneftegas supports the camp not only during holidays. Anna G. Parshina, Director of “Rovesnik”, confirmed that oilers make huge investments into “Rovesnik”: they undertake repair works, acquire furniture and make other presents. Constant finance support makes it possible to improve living condition of the camp. The enterprise also offers a considerable support to the parents who wish to acquire trip tickets  to the camp that is why they pay only 8 % of the total cost of the ticket.

Such a careful approach to the enterprise staff is a result of the corporate social policy, undertaken by RussNeft that comprises Saratovneftegas.

We pay much attention to social issues, - OAO Saratovneftegaz deputy Director General for staff management Sergey V. Krivonozhkin says. – The social programme involves voluntary health insurance, sanatorium-resort therapy, welfare, cultural events, benefits for company’s unemployed pensioners, war veterans and rear area workers.

In 2005 the expenses, provided by employment benefits, were 16.5 mln rubles. In 2006 OAO Saratovneftegaz won the regional conquest ‘Collective agreement, industrial efficiency – the basis of citizens’ socio-labour rights protection’ nominated for ‘The Best Company of Socio Responsible Business’.

Besides Rovesnik the company also owns a sanatorium-preventorium and tree recreation centres – Gelendzik, Landysh and Neftyanik, where 537 employees and members of their families had their holidays last year, 79 people had sanatorium-resort therapy on the Caucasian Mineral Waters and in Sochi. But Rovesnik remains the main pride.

- The camp is dear to us not only as our children’s holiday location, - Sergey V. continues. – Twice a year Saratovneftegaz employees gather here for winter and summer Olympics. All this provide healthful atmosphere and employees’ cheerful spirit that produces dramatical influence on working results of both the employees and the whole company.
- We can now say with certainty we have future because RussNeft pays much attention to social sphere,- Anna G. Parshina says. – The care for our camp is a priority of OAO Saratovneftegaz management and we can feel that.
