UNPRECEDENTED IN PERSPECTIVITY

The President of OAO NK “RussNeft” and the Governor of the territory of Ulyanovsk Sergey Morosov have signed Protocol for Agreement on Cooperation for 2006.
This year “RussNeft” allocates 17 mln 51 thousand roubles on capital repairs, social improvement and acquisition of new equipment for 18 objects, 3,5 mln roubles will also be allocated to support the “Neftyannik” football club. OAO NK “Russneft” will participate in the construction of the Park of Neftyanniks and Gazoviks.  In 2005 the company directed funds on capital repairs of boarding-schools in Bazarnosyzganckiy, Nikolayevskiy, Cherdaklinskiy, Kuzovatovskiy regions and Novoulyanovsk. On top of that, the company donated 20 automobiles of UAZ “Skoraya Pomosch” (Emergency) to the rural healthcare institutions.
In the course of signing the President of OAO NK “RussNeft” Mikhail Gutseriev underlined that the territory of Ulyanovsk is one of the most promising territories of the company’s regions of activities. The holding intends to actively participate in realization of social and charitable projects in this territory.
OAO NK “RussNeft” operates in six regions of the territory of Ulyanovsk: Nikolayevskiy, Novospasskiy, Melekesskiy, Cherdaklinskiy, Novomalyklinskiy, Radischevskiy.
Total production volume of the company’s assets in Ulyanovsk (OAO “Ulyanovskneft”, ZAO SP “Nafta-Ulyanosk”, OAO “Nefterazvedka”) in 2005 exceeded the sum of 755 thousand tons of oil which is 25% more as compared to the same markers in 2004.
During the first half of the year 2006 the company’s assets in Ulyanovsk produced about 500 thousand tons of oil leaving behind planned calculations.
Actually OAO NK “RussNeft” is in the process of realization of a mid-range investment program for 2004-2006 and a program of geological exploration worked out for 5 years. Territory overall expansion of the Cherdaklinskiy region in the territory of  Ulyanovsk as well as fulfillment of the first tranche of geological exploration on the Novospasskiy and Radischevskiy regions will be the main projects. In December 2004 there was built and put in commission a pipe-line named  Novospasskoye – Klin of 14 km, due to which the company undertook a very important step in formation of a modern industrial infrastructure on the territory of fields belonging to the company in this region.
OAO NK “Russneft” actively participates in realization of social programs of the region such as erection of the Spasso – Preobrazhenskiy temple, building of a mosque in the Novospasskiy region, repair works of preschool institution, gasification of the village of Vishenki, construction of boiler installations in infant schools in the Divniy village of the Melekesskiy region and a  boiler mini installation in Novo-Malykla, sponsorship of the “Neftyannik” football club in Novospasskoe, acquisition of  books for blind children, participation in the construction of the Park of Neftyanniks and Gazoviks in Ulyanovsk.
The company also granted a considerable financial support to organize summer holidays for children of members of military service, perished in Chechnya. Assistance was also allocated to cultural institutions, in particular to the drama theatre in the region as well as other objects of social sphere in the region.
