OAO Varyoganneft Celebrates its 30 th Anniversary
An oldest OAO Oil and Gas Company RussNeft’s subsidiary OAO Varyoganneft with its 30 years’ history can reasonably be proud of its success. During all these years company’s staff have been solving responsibly serious and complicated issues of development and operation of the unique multihorizon field Varyoganneft.
Varyoganneft field today is on the 4th stage of development; it is characterized by high water cut of production and headway. However, under these circumstances the company manages to secure stable oil production, producing 1.5 million tons of oil annually. For these purposes the company has actively been focusing on intensification of oil production.
For a few last years the company managed to reequip technically the production. They shifted primarily from flush and gas lift methods of production to machine mining with the help of underground pumping equipment. Facilities for oil gathering and processing and reservoir pressure maintenance systems have been renewed and adopted for oil production level. The introduction of a rust preventer helped prevent incidents and leaks of oil-gathering and technical system. Moreover, this excluded harmful environmental impact of production and let save tens of millions of rubles on recovery work annually. Rationalization of production provided a 20% decrease of its power input and saving of over two million rubles annually. Repair shops of electric submersible pumps, sucker-rod pumps, oilwell tubing are buit and put into operation; this let abandon costly services of outresourced monopolies.
Furthermore, now the staff is working on putting into operation new fields of Valuninskoye, Novo-Aganskoye and Kalinovoye. Those are the fields, where OAO Oil and Gas Company RussNeft plans to obtain substantial growth of oil production due to stabilization of production at oil fields, being developed already.
Over these years Varyoganneft has formed a modern structure of assets and production management, which will undoubtedly result in successful business of a major industrial enterprise. Stabilization of production output, financial and economic situation strengthening, stable social development of the company, new opportunities for key parameters growth increase; all this is a result of every day labour intensive work of a thousand staff of OAO Varyogannneft.
With thorns in the way to success Society’s employees had to overcome a lot f obstacles and ordeals but at the hardest times each of them felt support and help of their colleagues, interest of the staff in the one goal, the wish to look for and achieve the solving of the most difficult tasks.
Today at Varyoganneft work both the veterans of industry and young generation.The management of the joint-stock society is distinguished by appreciation of the youth –it does not prevent their career development, visa versa – they promote the promising and support in all ways the new-comers. On company’s recommendation many VN employees’ children study in leading oil institutions of Russia. Having graduated they will definitely come back to the native town and work at Varyoganneft, implementing their labour and knowledge for company’s development.
