The path to the West Mogutlorskoye field of OAO Multibusiness Company Aganneftegazgeologia, oil company RussNeft’s subsidiary from the Novoagansk village lies far. The way from the Raduzhny town is still farther. Those are the settlements the experts come to the field from. To establish comfortable conditions of life and work is a priority of RussNeft and all holding’s subsidiaries. For this very purpose a program of housing improvement for the employees of OAO Oil and Gas Company RussNeft’s subsidiaries has been set up and is performed at the company.

Today newly built administrative and household facilities are at oil industry workers service at the West Mogutlorskoye field. Since the administrative and household facilities were constructed they have started forgetting the discomfort of camp life at trailers on-site. They return to cozy clean rooms after their shift. Houseplants, which moved to a new place with their owners remind of the dear house and family.

‘We have double apartments. Sometimes tree persons live in an apartment – there are a lot of people – they lack room. We are trying to create a home-like atmosphere, we clean the apartments. They are nice guys, they keep it clean. We can feel the difference. We used to have 8 persons in a room and here we have just 2. You can feel free. The night shift sleeps. We are cleaning quietly, the day shift is at work.’

Electrical and gas welder Sergey Trofimov has come back from the night shift. He says though he feels cold a bit and is tired this is fixable. He will have shower now, go to sauna, will have some rest in the rest-room along with his friends and will be like newly born.

The conditions we’ve got are favorable. You may see it with your own eyes – everything is clean and tidied up. Here is my locker. I change my clothes. The shower and sauna are just opposite. I have a wash. I shave and have some rest)

Creating good conditions of life is no less important than producing oil. It is a component of successful and effective work. The second component is a rightly and optimally organized working place. It is important that there are no needless things and everything is at hand.

Olga Akinfieva, a control desk operator, is a kind of link between all the services. All the information is gathered right here and she has to sort it out and take the right decisions. There are special means of communications for that. And definitely there is quite extensive experience and manufacturing knowledge. Olga says of herself: I can see and hear everything. Moreover, all the employees have portable radio sets, reliable communications that allow communicating information swiftly.

‘I have been working since 2002. We had not had such conditions. There was only one really old computer. One telephone. There was no telemechanics…

‘Telemechanics has been installed. You can have a look – it displays everything - well laying off, reservoir pressure. If telemechanics does not work we are just like in open space - can see and hear nothing. We’ve got accustomed to that. It has changed a lot.

Organized production, which could be at the maximum comfort for the employees is just one of many points. Moreover, everything should be beautifully corporately styled with RussNeft holding symbology. To enhance employees’ feeling that they are part of a large oil company family.

The appearance of many facilities has been changed – the equipment and reservoirs have been painted. The common corporate program on changing the appearance of the fields makes its first steps – and they are bright and visible.

Newly built reservoir at the West Mogutlorskoye field has got corporate colors and the RussNeft logotype. Soon all the facilities of Multibusiness Company Aganneftegazgeologia will have the same color palette. This is designed to represent the unity of holding’s companies.

Keep pace with progress, keep up with the times. It is another requirement in order to achieve success.

An example of that is the construction of a new control room. There will be not only an operator hall but also a room for technical staff and personnel facilities. The field of hydrocarbons goes really well; the main objective is to provide the reliability of oil processing shops operation. Just now the new operator room will play its role. At that, new favorable conditions for employees’ work will be set up.

‘When we come to work, we want it to be more lively and brighter. Specially because we have 9 months’ winter and therefore, we lack light, the days are quite short. That is why we want to prolong the day at work. As you may see we try to fashion everything in bright colors. The equipment has a light color and the closets are arranged and the sockets are set in a new fashion so that they appeal to the eye and one wants to work, create and maintain this beauty. The more beautiful it is the better working results are. I think we can feel it, our mood is our results of work..’

‘We are eager to go to work’ – a lab assistant of the chemical analytical laboratory Lyudmila Pelekh says. The working areas are equipped with all that is needed, new advance equipment has been purchased. This enhances more accurate and qualitative results of chemical tests. It became more interesting to work although the tests became more complicated to carry out. Chemical processing equipment involves careful attention, knowledge and accurate analysis.

‘We have got a really nice additional mixing device, which enhanced our work a lot as for mixing oil in a tank. Originally we had to do hat with our own hands. We have got a new chloride salt analyzer. It is absolutely new. The operation time has started. This equipment means high quality of analysis.’

Soon the lab assistants will start working with two analysis halls. The builders are finishing extending the working areas. We will not have to take the tests to our neighbors and spend money on that. They will be able to get the required results themselves directly at the field of oil production and treatment.

Another field of the Society – the Roslavlskoye field is being developed and equipped. New facilities are being constructed, working conditions are being upgraded. Today works at the electrical power plant to extend its power capacity are being fulfilled at Roslavl. More energy is needed – work in all the areas is amounting.

To raise life energy and spirits you may come round the dining room. You may have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the new building. Sandwiches and a hot tea thermos bottle will be given to drivers for their long way.

‘We are never hungry. And we even do not have such variety at home’.

Sound bite. Andrey Gavrilov, the head of oil field Field Office of OAO Multibusiness Company ANGG. Company’s objective is to make person’s work at the company pleasant. Next point is what he or she wears at work and thirdly to make the work safe. A safety contest is scheduled for next year. In order to make people’s work qualified and safe we have training courses and upgrade their skill.
