Course for development GOLD POOL OF AGANNEFTEGASGEOLOGIA
Nowadays Roslavl is the most promising oil field of OAO MPK “Aganneftegasgeologia”, a subsidiary of OAO Oil and Gas Company “RussNeft”. Its development began in 2000. During a short period the company has achieved high results: today production of the oilfield amounts to 2 000 tons of oil peer day. At present Roslavl oilfield counts 6 multiple well platforms, 58 functioning wells, 18 of which are injection ones and 2 wells are working in maintaining reservoir pressure mode. The very first well of the oilfield, P-11, drilled in 1988 by G.Odintsev’s brigade, is still functioning. In fact, it was the pioneer of the new oilfield, and a memorial stela is erected in its honor.
AT ROSLAVL OILFIELD
The success of the Company depends directly on the people who work there. The whole work process is managed by the Head of the Field, Andrey Gavrilov. He told us that during 2006 much work was done at Aganneftegasgeologia, both in the field of production and for improvement of working conditions of the oilmen.
An additional pump (ЦНС-90, pump head 1900) was put into action at the group pumping station for maintaining reservoir compensation, which resulted in enlargement of water injection volume up to 6650 cubic meters. Gavrilov’s opinion is, additional injection must result in increase of reserves recoverability in production wells, which, in its turn, will enable the oilmen to optimize oil production. It is being planned for near future to perform pilot waterflooding at the 4th multiple well platform.
In order to make subsurface use more effective, the following measures were taken: optimization of 17 wells, 12 hydraulic fracturing of reservoirs, four wells were shifted to other horizons. Environmental protection works featured completion of reclamation of the pits at multiple well platforms №№ 1, 6 and 8. As the result of this work the lands used by the oilmen on a temporary loan basis were given back.
A large amount of repair and construction works was done at the multiple well platforms of the oilfield. Two group metering stations were replaced and uphole areas leveled.
In March 2006 a new canteen for 24 seats was open at the oilfield. It is also planned to build an amenity complex for the oilmen.
Nowadays they have at their disposal portacabins, a bath-house, drying rooms. The work for improvement of working conditions of the workers of ANGG is going on.
YOUTH IS A PASSPORT TO SUCCESS
Nowadays the personnel of Roslavl consists of 68 blue collars and 9 engineering employees. The oilfield is multi-profiled and specialists of various qualifications are necessary there. That is why many of the workers undergo additional training at manpower training schools in the towns of Raduzhnoye or Novoagansk.
Each year new young specialists join the team. Serguey Polenov is one of them. Last year he graduated from Tyumen University for Oil and Gas, majoring in “Oil and Gas Geology”. He had worked at Roslavl for his externship, liked the work, and returned there after his graduation.
He is working as a geologist now.
“I like all kinds of exploratory works”, Serguey says, “one gains a lot of experience working in production, you now the elementaries, but there is still much to learn”.
“ You’ll gain experience in due course, the main point is to keep the commitment. The most important thing in our job is not only achievement of high results, but good relations within the team as well. The young must learn this from the seniors”, says Head of the Field Andrey Gavrilov.
LOOK INTO THE FUTURE
OAO MPK “Aganneftegasgeologia” is a perspective oil company, a prestigious and prominent place of employment. Modernization, reconstruction, introduction of new up-to-date technologies are permanently going on here.
This year a large amount of works is planned for Eastern Roslavl oilfield of Roslavl License Area. Drilling at pad No 15 has already been started, multiple well platform is being arranged simultaneously, an oil-gathering facility which in near future is going to join pad No 15 and booster pump station -3 is being built. Oil pipeline from booster pump station-2 to booster pump station-3, more than 14 km long, is under construction. . Construction of a group pumping station is planned for the near future.
The company is not going to lie on oars. There are many strategic plans and production objectives which Aganneftegasgeologia must achieve in order to increase oil recovery and go on successfully.
