OAO ‘Neftemaslozavod’ – a subsidiary of OAO Oil and Gas Company ‘RussNeft’ – Celebrated the 65th Anniversity of its operation in February 2007.
The history of the lube oil plant in the Orenburg region began from the Second World War when many strategic companies were hurriedly evacuated from near battlefield. In August 1941 the lube oil plant was transferred from Lyubertsy located near Moscow. Owing to heroic efforts of people, shortly the plant reborn at the new location and as soon as in February 1942 it made its first production for the battlefield.
New times meant new targets. Furthermore, process of production has been upgraded, new units have been designed, and production spectrum has been extended. Nowadays, two main curing rooms are the basis of the company; they comprise five oil and lube oils processing plants. The production spectrum includes over 50 products and is continuously extending. From last September – the date of its establishment on the company has produced 4.5 million tons of greases.
Company’s future plans include investments into technical re-equipment of the energy supply system.
