“RussNeft” Takes Care of Upgrading of “Orsknefteorgsintez”
In 2006 “RussNeft” invested in upgrading of its subsidiary OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez” (“ONOS”) more than 566 million rubles. The costs for replacement of worn-out equipment almost doubled in comparison with 2005 and amounted to about 353 million rubles.
One of the main investment projects of 2006 was replacement of a catalyzer at the reformer which permitted to increase the share of high-octane gasolines produced and to increase the efficiency of stock treatment.
The General Director of “ONOS” Vladimir Piliugin says that last year there was determined a program of the plant’s development for several years, which included construction of an isomerization plant, a block of reformate separation and other objects which would permit to increase the depth of oil refining and to reduce the quantity of fuel oil.
At present the plant is implementing active measures on material status of the equipment, reduction of energy consumption and oil product losses.
The results of the last year show that the plant has increased oil production volume by 31.7% - up to 4.7 million tons. Production of motor gasoline grew by one third – up to 722 thousand tons, according to “RCCnews” agency
