OAO “Oil and Gas Company “RussNeft” and the Administration of the Orenburg Region have signed a cooperation agreement.
Moscow, March 21/ PRIME-TASS/OAO “Oil and Gas Company “RussNeft” and the Administration of Orenburg Region have signed a cooperation agreement in Moscow today. The ceremony of signing was performed by Governor of Orenburg Region Alexey Chernyshev and President of OAO “Oil and Gas Company “RussNeft” Mikail Gutseriev.
The agreement determines key parameters of interrelations between the Region and the holding and its main objective is solution of the problems of social and economic development of the Region. The Parties determined that the volume of “Russneft”’s investments in the enterprises of the Region (OAO “Orskefteorgsintez”, OAO “Orenburgnefteproduct”, OAO “Neftemaslozavod”) this year will amount to about 1.5 billion rubles which exceeds 25% the last year results., the volume of production of the Societies of the holding will increase 36% as compared with 2006 (about 19 million rubles). Therewith, in accordance with the signed document, this year “RussNeft” will help the agricultural producers of the region, retaining for the agricultural sector the 10% discount for oil products during seed and harvesting campaigns.
During the meeting President of Oil and Gas Company “RussNeft” mentioned that the main task of the holding in the Region was upgrading of the refinery. This task can be solved through successful implementation of the program of wide-scale reconstruction of the capacities of ONOS. Thus, it is planned to start in 2008 stabilizing the volume of oil processing at the refinery at the level of 4.8 million – 5 million tons (last year this figure increased 35% and reached 4.7 million tons per year). The program of upgrading of the refinery suggests in 2007 reconstruction of the plants where oil is treated for further processes of isomerization and reforming, construction of objects improving the quality of gasolines and starting to produce gas oil EURO-4. Strategic objectives of the refinery objective program suggest achieving 92% depth of refining at ONOS in 2013.
Speaking about the plans for this year, Mikail Gutseriev mentioned that in 2007 the holding would start upgrading the network of gasoline filling stations of “RussNeft” in the Region; it is planned to reconstruct 10 filling complexes and to enhance the range of packed products - industrial oils produced by OAO “Neftemaslozavod”.
