New ideas of the young springing and sparkling

Thus, on May 11 the II Scientific Practical Conference of young specialists took place at OAO “Varioganneft”. Traditionally, the aim of this conference is commit the young specialists to the company, to raise their professional level and to perfect cooperation of the subdivisions of the Company.

10 young specialists of “Varioganneft” submitted the projects of solution of various problems in the fields of geology, economics, mining geodesy, liaison, technology.

The organizational committee of the conference consists of the administrators and specialists of the plant who are convinced that this year one of the main objectives of the conference shall be obtaining of economic effect from introduction of the projects worked out by young specialists, an effort to resolve the actual problems the company is facing, with the help of “fresh forces”.  And not without reason, for the subjects of the reports chosen for the conference are connected with the problems actual and urgent for the plant.

Valida Agakishieva, a leading engineer of Automation and Liaison Department was the first to speak. Her report was titled “Necessity of introduction at “Varioganneft” of new technology of broadband radio access at the equipment  Motorola Canopy, Wilmax standard”. . The members of the committee had a lot of questions to the speaker, for she was the first to take the floor. In particular, a question on the costs of installation of this equipment at Novo-Aganskoye oilfield was asked. Having discussed that, all the members of the committee came to the conclusion that the sum was not too large and the project can be implemented in near future. After that Dmitry Arefin, Deputy Head of Automation and Energy Department delivered his report “Failures of electric centrifugal pump unit due to reduction of isolation in the system cable-engine”. A member of the committee asked him: “What would you do as the manager of the plant in case of a failure of the ECPU?” Dmitry was not taken aback by the question, his answer was: ”I’d have replaced the unit with a newer, and, consequently, more expensive one.”  In the course of the discussion it was discovered that such units were already in use at the plant and they proved to be non-efficient, so it was not economical to use such equipment at the present moment. The report of accountant Irek Akhatov “Interaction of services in the department of accounts receivable”. His speech could serve an example of a competent and lapidary report. The next two reports were those of engineer of Main Engineering and Technical Information Service Ruslan Akhmadrislamov:  “Gaslift valves as the method to control harmful gas influence” and  of economist of Budgeting and Financial analysis department Olesia Bikmetova: “Leasing”. By the way, the members of the committee particularly noted her report as the most complete and economically profitable for the plant both for the present and for the future. A very interesting report “Reduction of the accident rate at oil pipelines of Variogan oilfield” was delivered by engineer of Production and Technical Oil and Gas Department  Victor Zhidelev. But the members of the committee considered the subject of the report was underdeveloped.

Almost all the speakers couldn’t help being nervous during their discourses, but it couldn’t be said about Alexei Lezhnev, mining geodesist. He had spent just a few days preparing his report “Mining geodesy in the process of oil fields development” but he delivered it and an assured and confident manner. The report of Aidar Yamaleyev “Efficiency analysis and prospects of hydrochloric treatment of wells at Variogan oilfield” appeared to be really acute. The research undertaken by Aidar showed that this method of wells treatment is very efficient, but harmful for human health.

delivered a report titled “Efficiency of geological and technical measures at Variogan Oilfield” which had some indirect crossings with the report of economist of the Budgeting and Financial Analysis Department  Alexander Tupilov, who spoke on the subject “Cost efficiency of geological and technical measures”.

Almost all the young specialists of “Varioganneft” had to answer the questions asked by the members of the committee and to listen to their opinions. The committee recommended to give most of the report submitted to the conference another brush, in particular, to add  financial justification of the projects, alternatives of application of the innovations. But on the whole the committee supported the young and advised where and how “weak points” could be eliminated so that in future the speakers could successfully deliver their reports at the regional conference.

When the results were summed up the prizes were assigned as follows: Alexander Tupilov won the first prize, Victor Zhidelev got the second, and Olesia Bikmetova and Aidar Yamaleyev shared the third. The premiums awarded to the winners amounted to 25 000, 20 000 and 15 000 rubles respectively. All the other participants of the conference got encouragement prizes in amount of 5 000 rubles each.

The II Scientific Practical Conference of OAO “Varioganneft” became an important event in the sphere of building relations between the young specialists and their potential employers. The comments of the young showed that they are really satisfied with the atmosphere of creative work, the professional level of the reports and the discussions.

Aleksander Tupilov, Budgeting and Financial Analysis Department economist – ‘I was delegated to the conference by our chief Olga P. Mikhailova, together we have chosen and approved the subject. There was no difficulty in preparing the report for I face these issues on a daily basis. The department I work in, Budgeting and Financial Analysis Department, supervises the activities of all the company and works in close cooperation with all the subdivisions – geological, technological services and normally we get on with all of them well. Obviously, I would love to see my suggestions implemented at the company, they would facilitate the work. These innovative ideas reveal the general picture of what we are doing; this is particularly the relevance of the subject of my report.

Olga P. Mikhailova, first deputy to the managing director for economy and finance – Events of this kind should be held probably still more frequently. Those enhance further professional development of our experts at the company, in their scientific labor and innovative suggestions. Today’s conference has only one minor disadvantage – an insignificant share of our subsidiaries participating in the conference. The reports presented have undoubtedly been interesting. Certainly, there are some remarks on report composition, subject underdevelopment, correlation of regional, international methods, and analysis of various methods of application. More own suggestions! Generally speaking the reports should be highly esteemed, I believe. It is obvious that young experts are fully prepared and ready to participate in the Scientific and Practical Conference at the regional, all-Russia and probably even international level.
