"RussNeft": Leader cannot be left unnoticed

There arrived more than one hundred competitors representing eleven entities from seven cities of the Khanty - Mansijsk Autonomous Area and the Tomsk region among whom there were the winners from the first competition, representatives from OAO “Varieganneft”, OOO “Beliye Nochi”, ST ZAO “GolOil”, OOO “Zapdno-Malobalikskoye”, OAO MPK “Aganneftegasgeology”, ZAO “Tomskaya neft”, OOO SP “Chernogorskoye”, OAO “Mokhtikneft”, OAO NAK “Aki-Otar”, “Soblolinoye” Group of companies, ZAO “Archneftegeology”. According to Serguey Poretskiy, the Director of the Engineering Department of NK “RussNeft”, more than 24 thousand people work for the Company, 6200 of which work in the Siberian region:
-25 % of our employees are people under 30, there are also 2 thousand engineering technologists, 4 thousand workers, - said Serguey Poretskiy.
Winners in the selective tours held in June-July came to Nizhnevartovsk. Production operators, well workover and well research operators, electricians, gas welders and representatives of other profession took part in the competitions. Stability of the whole holding depends on the day-to-day work of the people of the mentioned above professions.
The stability and prosperity are secured by the executives who pay special attention to the development and oilfield constructions from the very south to the north. Today daily oil production at “Russneft”  is approaching the rate of 40 thousand tons.  One of the leaders is the developing “Aganneftegasgeology”: in the second half of 2006 OAO MPK “ANGG” drilled the 34th prospecting well which topped three highly productive horizons. The entity managed to increase oil production up the level of 3-4  thousand tons per day. Today the construction of pressure pipeline is under consideration the purpose of which is to increase the production up to 2 million tons per year. Four of the twenty nine entities of the holding produce oil off-line, that is they possess their power system and pipelines. Russneft is among the companies which use associated petroleum gas to work out electric power.  Today “Sobolinoye”  have put into operation 6 gas piston units producing 3.5 MVt per day.

Having wished good luck, General Director of SP “Chernogorskoye” OOO, Andrey Zarubin started the competition. The first day was dedicated to theory. The competitors proved their professional competence by answering questions. More over the competitors had the possibility to show their ability to tackle outstanding situations. Each task was oriented to estimate both the ability to fulfill the operation in accordance with the standards and rules and good knowledge of safety rules.
The second day showed the professionalism of experts from RussNeft. Thus, Kizim Uzbekov and Georguiy  Perevoznikov (OAO “Verieganneft”) won the first prize among operators of  underground well works. Serguey Apukhtin and Andreu Kuvshinov (OOO “Zapadno - Malobalikskoye”) nealyr won. These are two entities that posses their own teams of CWR and WWO, other entities have contractors. Even jury marked that the experts performed perfectly.

Drivers competed in their ability to drive heavy and light vehicles. The first prize was won by the representative  of OAO “Varieganneft” – Vladimir Illarionov, Evgueniy Nerushev (ZAO “Tomskaya Neft”) won the second prize and Vadim Hanenko (OOO “Agan-Trans OAO MPK “ANGG””). In the competitions among gas welders the first was Michael Ukhov (OOO SP “Chernogorskoye”), Nikolay Livanovskiy (OAO “Varieganneft”) was the second and the third was (OAO “Mohtikneft”).
Representatives of our entities also took the first three prizes among chemical analytical laboratory assistants.
Well survey operators took diagrams with a device showing the functioning of a downed pump. The winner was Yuriy Rada (OAO Varieganneft). He worked with the device for the first time, but, on the opinion of the jury, he perfectly fulfilled the task. The second was Ramil Bikmaev (OOO SP “Chernogorskoye”) and the third – Oleg Zubtsovskiy (OAO MPK “Aganneftegazgeology”). Electricians also did their task very well. They found defects in the control station. The first and the best was Igor Zakharov (OAO “” Varieganneft)? The second was Rustem Kuyashev (OOO SP “Chernogorskoye”) and Andrey Kretov (OAO MPK “Aganneftegasgeology”)
Processing unit operators and pump mechanics observed very complicated equipment to find the defects that had been previously left. Each missed defect was to be charged with a demerit point. The most important was to overcome the excitement and try to fulfill the task that is in fact their everyday work. The winners were representatives of OOO SP “Chernogorskoye”, OAO “Verieganneft”, ZAO “Tomskaya Neft”

The organization of the competition was excellent due to the fact that the employees of OAO “Varieganneft” gave considerable help.
Victor Salmin, Chief Engineer of OOO SP “Chernogorskoye” said: We came to visit them and they showed us their plan. This competition was decided to be more open and we informed the competitors and the jury of the competition program in advance, having, thus, solved all the questions that cropped up. Certain changes were introduced into the contest committee. It became more objective. Another innovation was appliance of the impoted equipment.
Each winner was given a diploma, a corporate badge and valuable prizes. On the whole the winner of the competition was  OAO “Varieganneft”, the second was OOO SP “Chernogorskoye” and the third was OAO MPK “Aganneftegasgeology”.  During the solemn closing of this event the participants had the possibility to talk to the colleagues which, undoubtedly, brought them closer.
- Nizhnevartovsk is a beautiful city  - said Alsu Vlasova, senior engineer of OOO “Zapadno-Malobalikskoye” in Nefteyugansk. The organization is perfect. It is highly prestigious to participate in competitions like this. There is a motivation for the professional advancement. It is natural that all the participants were nervous. But we also had time for rest.  We liked very much the trip around Nizhnevartovsk and the voyage down the river Ob. It is not less important that we got acquainted with our colleagues as we had a lot to discuss.
