Tpday ZAO “Sobolinoye” is one of the dynamically developing subdivisions of “RussNeft” with good prospects for the future. However, this development would have been impossible with as large investments as one may think, but for committed and expert personnel. The administration well aware about the f act does its best to provide the employees with good salaries and resolve their personal and family problems.
First of all the administration signed a collective agreement with the employees and this agreement is not only an official paper but a working document; some paragraphs were included in the agreement in accordance with direct requirements of workers and officials, suggested at a general meeting.
The manager, Valeri Gabrielaian set the example himself. It was he to tell the workers:” Speak about all your claims and needs”. The people spoke about improvement of shift camps, nourishment, health protection for themselves and their families. These minor but concrete requests made up a voluminous book which is now determining social policy of the company.
It is not enough to put down all the requests and keep them in a book. The thing is to fulfill the wishes.
And in this point the manager is a key person. It has become a tradition with the general Director to hold meetings with the teams at production sites. And at each meeting not only production problems are discussed, but the problems of everyday life as well. Gabrielian reports what measures were taken in connection with the workers’ requirements. And there is much to tell about. Here are some examples from the provisions of the last year collective agreement
During the first half of the year about 5.5 million rubles is assigned for social needs of the workers. 20 children spent summer holiday in children’s sanitary camps, and the company paid 20 thousand rubles for each voucher, and paid traveling expenses for some of the children. Ten female employees spent their vacations at the expense of their social packages in sanatoriums under the program “Mother and Baby” , which cost 40 thousand rubles per each. Most of the children from “Sobolinoye” went for vacations to of the Black Sea. Total expenses for children’s rest amounted to more than 1 million rubles. In fact, all the claims of workers in this sphere were satisfied completely.
Each person who went on holiday received a welfare in amount of nine thousand rubles which is, one must acknowledge, a substantial plus in the vacation period.
The company pays great attention to living problems. During 2.5 years 14 employees received interest-free loans for improvement of their living condition, in average, 500 thousand rubles each.
But there are many other problems in the life today which require from a family substantial expenditures : payment for university education, hospital treatment, weddings, funerals. And the company helps its employees in all these cases.
Besides, the administration of “Sobolinoye” has signed contracts on medical insurance and non-state (additional) provision of pensions for its employees.
The administration doesn’t grudge means for health protection, but everybody understands that it is sports which lies in the basis of the people’s health. That is why the company has signed contracts with several sport complexes and the employees can attend gyms, swimming-pools, valley-ball sites.
ZAO “Sobolinoye” spend about 39 thousand rubles a year for health protection of each employee. Life conditions in shift camps have been improved substantially, the company invests iys own means in provision of good food for shift workers. Recreation rooms look like the rooms in a modern hotel. During 2.5 years in “RussNeft” group “Sobolinoye” has spent more than 25 million rubles for social needs of the team.
