A ceremony of initiation took place at OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez”

This ceremony is the starting point at the way of those who decided to start their career path at Orsk refinery. It has been held annually for seven years already. Seven years ago 29 young people took part in the ceremony, this year they numbered 55.

Among these 55 people 14 ones are graduates of higher educational institutions, 41 come from special schools, and 35 of the latter  graduated from chemical and mechanical technical school which is the main supplier of human resources for the plant.

The ceremony began at the conference hall of the plant. The youths were introduced to the specialists of social and personnel departments, the trade union leaders of the plant. Young specialists and the veterans of OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez” laid flowers to the Glory Memorial at the square near the plant and held a moment of silence to honor the memory of  the oil chemists perished during World War II.

The excursion on production facilities of the refinery expanded the young specialists’ knowledge of the plant’s activity. At the museum of Honor in battle and labor the principals of the ceremony met veterans of war and labor, got acquainted with the history of the plant.

The main part of the ceremony took place in the hall of the Oil Chemists’ Club. Apart from the young specialists among the participants there were representatives of the administration, shop supervisors, trade union leaders, undergraduates and teachers from the chemical and mechanical technical school, parents.

The initiation of 2007 both carried on the existing tradition and symbolized a new stage in development of the refinery incorporated in the oil company “RussNeft”.

The arrangers of the ceremony thought it necessary to introduce the young specialists with the management of the plant headed by the General Director Vladimir Piliugin.
