In the first half of the year "Orsknefteorgsintez" increased investments in reconstruction

In the first half of the year investments in reconstruction and modernisation of ОАО "Orsknefteorgsintez", the biggest refinery of the Orenburg Region, amounted to 461 mln Rubles - it is 25% more than in January - June 2007, reported the Head of press-service of the enterprise on Friday to RIA Novosti.
"From the beginning of 2008 at Orsk oil refinery "Orsknefteorgsintez" there were carried on works on reconstruction of the operating objects and modernisation of the enterprise, confirmed by the holding company - NK "RussNeft". "Due to the program of capital investment, in the first half of the year there were invested 461 mln Rubles", - said the interlocutor of the agency. Against the same period in the last year, the enterprise implemented 367 mln Rubles under the program of capital investments. "Implementation of the package plan, focused on the increase of oil processing depth, is the main direction in the investment program of the enterprise. Within the framework of this direction, from the beginning of the year there was implemented a number of projects. In particular, the construction of the reformate fractionation unit is going on; this unit will provide impoverishment of benzole in motor gasoline. Project on the construction of isomerization unit, due to which it is planned to start production of high-octane number component for motor gasoline and cut aromatic content in motor gasoline, is also being introduced", - marked the representative of the enterprise. ОАО "Orsknefteorgsintez" is the biggest oil refinery in the Orenburg Region, its power is 6,6 mln tons per year. The enterprise is a part of the oil holding of "RussNeft".
