Wage increase is a matter of individual efficiency of employee

«Russneft» puts in a new policy in wage system at "Orsknefteorgsintez"

Staff of the enterprise determines to a large extent success in business. «RussNeft», affirming that social policy is a priority matter among others, proved it in practice from the very first day of its foundation. Concern for people makes itself evident in a number of ambitious programmes, covering various sides of life of the workers of "Orsknefteorgsintez".
It's well known that "RussNeft" invests heavily in social protection, health improvement, housing improvement, staff training, childhood and family vacations of its employees. The list of social help of the Holding is huge: material support of the workers of the plant and veterans, financing of sporting and cultural programmes, etc. Thus, in the first half of 2008 there was spent 38 mln Rubles for carrying-out these programmes. 
Special attention "RussNeft" pays to the matters of material remuneration for conscientious work. The Company strains after fair salary compensation, it shouldn't be lower than the salary for similar professions in the region. For example, on April 1, 2008 the Holding carried out salary indexation, as it is fixed in the collective agreement.
In the end of 2007 during the meeting of ONOS management with the management of the Holding there were raised questions regarding salary and employee turnover. Comprehensive study of the matter and deep analysis allowed to define principles of money compensation - conformity with the market, detailed analysis of the professional skills of the employee, his/ her experience and qualification.
Wage increase will be held in several steps: from July 1 of the next year there'll be wage increase to the workers and leading specialists of the main shops of the enterprise; in August-September of the next year - wage increase to the workers of service shops.
Today "Orsknefteorgsintez" has one of the best social packages in the Orenburg Region, at the same time there's carried out a permanent work at its improvement, both in volume and quality of services. For example, recently "RussNeft" agreed with the decision of ONOS management regarding material compensation to vacations in amount of 30 % from monthly salary in view of allowance.
The Management of "RussNeft" is going to improve wage system, that will become a basis for career development of the employees, will correspond to his/ her professional skills, and individual contribution in business.
Alexander Korsik, Chairman of the Board of OAO NK "RussNeft", emphasized:
- Wage increase is not a single action of the Holding, it's a constant process with the main goal to conform to the market demands re salary of the employees, differential and individual  approach to remuneration of labour of each worker. We are ready to pay more to those who want to improve their professional skills, masters new duties, raises operating efficiency. This approach will be applied to all enterprises of the Company.
