Moscow. According to the data from RAS net profit of ОАО NК "RussNeft" (RUSN) in the first half of 2008 increased to 12,223 bln Rubles against 2,25 bln Rubles for the same period in 2007.
As it is stated in the official report of the Company, net profit of "RussNeft" in the 2d quarter of 2008 grew up to 8,716 bln Rubles against 3,508 bln Rubles for the 1st quarter of 2008, it occurred due to the increase in volume of crude oil sales and oil price rises in the world market.
As it was reported earlier, net profit of "RussNeft" in the first half of 2007 lowered by 3,5 times year-on-year - up to 2,25 bln Rubles.
