OAO “Belkamneft” – technologies of success
Company “Balkamneft”, set up in 1997 occupies the second place among oil production companies of Udmurtia. In 2003 the company was incorporated into OAO NK “RussNeft”.
Investment and technological possibioities of the holding helped “belkamneft” to reveal its potential in full extent. In 2005 and 2005 the volume of oil produced by the plant increased by more than 25% - unheard of rates for oil production branch of Udmurtia. In 2006 “Belkamneft” reached the record level – more than 4 million tons. In 2007 the plant stabilized the achieved results. These results became real due to active use of geological and engineering operations, search and introduction of up-to-date high efficiency technologies, cooperation with the leading manufacturers of oil production equipment. Incorporation into “Belkamneft” group of several oil producing companies and putting into operation of new wells also promoted the increase of oil recovery. The company owns the majority of the producing wells commissioned during the period 2003-2007.
One of the important trends of activity of “Belkamneft” is providing ecological safety of oil production and transportation. The company assigns for these purposes more than 600 million rubles annually. The plant features substantial scientific and research base, including laboratories which can effect complete diagnostics and monitoring of the environment.
The plant builds up the number of working places in proportion to the growth of production volumes and this fact has a particular social meaning for the region.
Nowadays 4.5 thousand people are working at “Belkamneft”. The plant pays special; attention to preparing reserve personnel, training, upgrading qualifications of its workers. “Belkamneft” is numbered among the leading industrial companies of Udmurtia and neighboring regions in the sphere of salaries level and the funds assigned for social protection of its workers.
Social responsibility of NK “RussNeft” and its subsidiary “Belkamneft” reveals itself as well in support they render to the territories where their business activity is located. More than 13 million rubles was assigned to implementation of social programs at the districts of the republic. Within the frameworks of agreements annually signed with the government of Udmurtia, NK “RussNeft” makes allocations to the budget of the republic/ In 2007 the ampunt of these allocation exceeded 1.9 billion rubles.
According to the results of 2007 the company’s allocation to the budgets of all levels amounted
to 14.6 billion rubles. OAO “Belkamneft” actively participates in financing of the projects which have social importance for Udmurtia. The company fully financed construction of the Temple of Saint Regal Martyrs in Izhevsk, the temple of St. Martyr Panteleimon in the village of Karakulino. The company contributed considerably into reconstruction of the largest orthodox sanctuary of the Region – the Cathedral of Saint Michael in Izhevsk. “Belkamneft” also rendered financial support to construction of the building of Oil Faculty at Ydmurt State University . A special program “Electronic Udmurtia” is dealing in equipping Udmurtian schools with computers. The plant is the general sponsor of the children’s sports school “Belkammotosport”, which counts 850 children.
To work for the well-being of their native republic with full commitment, to assist development of the regions – these are the priorities of the work of “Belkamneft” at present, on the eve of a great historical date – the 450th jubilee of Udmurtia’s incorporation into Russia.
