During the first half of the year 2008 OAO "RussNeft" produced almost 2.5 times as much oil as during the same period of the last year.
RussNeft, which during the first half of the year 2008 produced almost 2.5 times as much oil as in the same period of the last year owes this result to excellent work of its main subsidiaries during the second half of the year 2007 , when the company booked as income 7.22 million of oil produced.
The result of the first half of the current year is a bit lower: 7.12 million tons. But the company still has the chance to complete the year with a new corporate record in production volumes. "Russnweft" is developing 174 oilfields scattered in different regions of the country. These oilfields difer greatly in conditions of prooduction, oil composition, depth of formaions and many other parameters. In fact each of them requires special approach.
In 2007 "RussNeft" put into development two new oilfields and drilled 110 operation wells. Efficiency of hydrofracturing actively used by the company fo stabilization of oil production has grown. All these factors have become the basis opf successful accounts of the company for the first half of the year 2008.
