Convincing investments in the economy of the region

Saratov oilmen successfully implement the plan on oil production; every ton of "black gold" is a ticket to significant fiscal charges, that brings stability into the region and well-being to people. The figures speak for themselves - for 7 months of the year "Saratovnefetgaz" and its subsidiaries have paid more than 527 mln. Rubles in the consolidated budget of the Saratov Region.
Traditionally "Saratovneftegaz" pays much attention to the protection of nature and industrial safety. Following the results of the contest, organized by the Saratov Directorate of the Rostekhnadzor, "Saratovneftegaz" has got First Class Diploma and was acknowledged the best enterprise in the sphere of environmental safety among fuel and energy companies in the region.
But the oilmen are not going to rest on their laurels. At the moment "Saratovneftegaz" is implementing two international standards - ISO 14001 («Environmental management system»), and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
- Of course, high production rates shouldn't be viewed in isolation from social welfare program, which is being developed at our enterprise, -  emphasizes Vladimir Ilyasov, General Director of OAO "Saratovneftegaz". - The progress of the enterprise is caused by the dayly work of all our staff.
"Saratovneftegaz" is traditionally a model for other employers in terms of concern of their employees. Three years in succession the enterprise wins in the regional contest «Collective agreement, industrial efficiency are the basis for the defence of the social-labour rights of people».
Collective agreement, signed for 3 years, apart from the regularly increased wages, provides good social package: vacation and sanatorium-resort therapy, easing of board, welfare assistance, compensation for day-care facilities, carrying out of cultural measures and recreative sports, payments to anniversaries and holidays, stocking-stuffers for children.
All employees of "Saratovneftegaz" have voluntary medical insurances, and they can undergo a cure in good clinics. Besides, there operates a program of non-government pension benefits, which is realized via fund "Vernost".
The enterprise is concerned not only about the rise of material benefits to the workers, but their professional skills, that is a basic requirement for the successful development of the enterprise. In 2007, for example, 1369 employees had advanced trainings and improved their qualification; expenditures connected with this exceeded 5 mln. Rubles.
- Investments in human capital asset cannot but yield, - says Vladimir Ilyasov, General Director of OAO "Saratovneftegaz". - According to the results of 3 contests of professional skills, being held in 2006 - 2008 among the workers of five enterprises of NK "RussNeft" in the Volga-Ural Region, our enterprise established itself as a leader.
The oil workers are also actively involved in patronship and sponsorship. "Saratovneftegaz" develops its own charity program within the limits of cooperation with the Government of the Saratov Region.
The key-addressees of their welfare work are children lacking parental love and care. Thus, for two years in succession "Saratovneftegaz" receives in its recreation camp "Rovesnik" children under wardship, charity-boys and unprivileged children (this year there had rest 450 children from Saratov and 16 areas of the region).
Recently "Saratovneftegaz" sponsored 4 boarding schools of the region for the purchase of mini-buses "Gazel". 480 thous. Rubles were given to Khvalynskaya and Kalininskaya boarding schools, Pugachevskaya boarding school and an orphan asylum № 3 in Khvalynsk.
Besides, due to the support of oil workers charity-boys can visit concerts of organ music in Saratov conservatory. This year children from 27 orphan-asylums of Saratov, Balakovo, Atkarsk, Engels, Krasnoarmeisk listened to the music in hand of Domenico Severin and Victor Kukushkin.
Special attention in the social program of "Saratovneftegaz" is paid to sponsorship of recreative sports. For several years the enterprise supports Federation on kickboxing - the enterprise invests in competitions and trips of the sportsmen to tournaments in the Russian Federation and abroad.
Every year in the Saratov Region there are held football tournaments among neighbourhood sports teams, in which boys and girls from all districts take part. "Saratovneftegaz", as many other benefactors, supported these competitions.
