A solemn welcome for the young.
“Orsknefteorgsintez” arranged for its young specialists a solemn ceremony of admission in the ranks of employees of “RussNeft”, represented by its subsidiary.
It has always been considered prestigious job, to work at an oil-processing plant, and the company tried to select the best graduates, forming up a reliable and efficient team.
Orsk refinery, with its glorious work record, becomes younger with every passing year. The equipment is being replaced with the most up-to-date units, the technologies are being upgraded, human resources are being renewed. Special attention is paid to young employees and their number at the plant is growing with every passing year. Eight years ago when such ceremony was first held at ONOS only 26 people participated in it. This year their number amounted to 46.
It has become a tradition to celebrate admission of new young workers as a festival. The company cordially and solemnly welcomes its young workers. They visit the museum of ONOS were veterans of the plant – participants of the World War II and heroes of labor front - tell them about the legendary past and labor achievements of the plant named after Tchkalov. .At the conference-hall the management of the company headed by the general Director greet the newcomers. This year Director of Oil Processing Department of “RussNeft”, V.K. Kantyshev has arrived from Moscow on purpose, to be present at the event.
“Strategy of the plant can be seen from the programs”, said Vladimir Konstantinovich, “and you will have to implement them. Let the way you have chosen at our plant will be an important part of your lives.
The older colleagues made their best for the young to remember this day and feel their respect and care: laying flowers at the memorial of oil chemists, a bus trip around the city, a video film about the work of the trade-union and the youth committee, specially made for the event, a concert, presents, flowers…
The newcomers, a bit in a flurry, pronounced in chorus their oaths, promising to upgrade continuously their professional skills, and make their best to be useful of the plant and the company, to regard the targets and missions of the plant and the company their own ones…
“ We felt sincere attention and support of the plant yet as students, when we first came to ONOS for practice”, said the former students and thanked the plant for the festival made in their honor.
General Director of ONOS, V.V. Piliugin handed them the certificates witnessing the start of their labor activity in the company.
Being proud of your plant, being a part of a wonderful and friendly team is a great stimulus. Talented and sure of their abilities, the young specialists bring in new energy, new impulse to development of the plant and of the company as a whole. The future is for them.
