In 2008 "Orsknefteorgsintez" increased the net profit by 8,5%
Orenburg. March, 23. INTERFAX-THE VOLGA REGION - This is said in the Company report, that the net profit of OAO "Orsknefteorgsintez" (the subsidiary enterprise of NK "RussNeft") (RTS: RUSN) in the fourth quarter of 2008 made 82,027 mln Rubles.
According to the nine months results of 2008, "Orsknefteorgsintez" realized 650,282 mln Rubles of net profit. In 2007 this determinant amounted to 675 mln 53,233 thous Rubles. Thus, the net profit of the enterprise in 2008 made 732,309 mln Rubles and increased in comparison with 2007 by 8,5%.
It is said in the report, that the net profit of "Orsknefteorgsintez" in the fourth quarter of 2008 went down by 2% as compared to the determinant of the third quarter. It occurred because of the "reduction in yield and increase in miscellaneous expenses in the accounting period".
