Orsk. OJSC Oil and Gas Company "RussNeft" has completed start-up operations and prepared new equipment for the commissioning at the central laboratory of the subsidiary enterprise of "Orsknefteorgsintez". This information has been provided by the press-service of "RussNeft".
As explained in the report, the equipment has been procured as part of the implementation of the requirements for the Technical Regulations on the quality of products.
It's said in the report, that the Company has spent about 8 million Rubles for the purchase of jet fuel thermo-oxidative stability analyzer, apparatus for determining the group composition of petroleum products and digital conductometer. This equipment will enable “Orsknefteorgsintez” to explore fuel by JFTOT procedure without assistance of world-class laboratories.
The investigations will be carried out in terms of: aromatic hydrocarbons volume ratio, thermal stability and specific electrical conductivity.It's noted in the report, that the need for such study on petroleum products has been specified by the Technical Regulations, established by the Government of the Russian Federation on January 1, 2009.
The amount of the annual output of rocket fuel at “Orsknefteorgsintez” makes about 300 thousand tons. It fully corresponds to the technical requirements for jet fuels.
"RussNeft" is among the top ten oil and gas companies of the Russian Federation. In 2007 the production level made 14.2 million tons, throughput - 7.4 million tons. Total recoverable reserves exceed 630 million tons. "RussNeft" structure encompasses 21 extractive enterprises, 2 refineries, oil terminal in the Bryansk region, and also 96 gas filling stations in the Orenburg Region. The enterprises of the company are situated in 14 regions of Russia and CIS.
