The best fuel for the safe flights
Orsk airport has an internetional status and functions without accidents starting with its foundation. Compleat professionalism of the pilots, careful attention and, what is important, excellent fuel from the local refinery ensure flight safety. Kerosene, which is supplied to many regions of the country by "Orsknefteorgsintez", the subsidiary enterprise of "Russneft", has excessive demand. And if transient aircrafts, which are landing, have a choice, then they would rather prefer fuel from Orsk refinery: the highest quality and the best price.
Three fuel tankers with kerosene from local refinery can be placed inside the huge aircraft "Ruslan", which arrives in Orsk from Toulouse with orbiting bodies for the space launching site in Yasny. The aircrafts, taking their course in China, fill about 80 tons of excellent fuel.
- The quality of fuel from "Orsknefteorgsintez" is five by the five-grade scale, - says V. Roy, the Director of the fuel-filling complex of the airport. - Fuel and the crew of the aircrafts are considered to be the best. By the five-phase control-system, the final inspection of kerosene is made by the specialists near the charged aircraft. And the test always shows "excellent", which means there is clearance for takeoff.
The fuel-filling complex has its laboratory, where kerosene and gasoline are extensively investigated. But there is much more advanced laboratory at "Orsknefteorgsintez". Equipped with modern facilities it continues to rapidly grow. In May 2009 "RussNeft" procured for its subsidiary enterprise the newest expensive equipment: jet fuel thermo-oxidative stability analyzer JFTOT in the value of 7 million Rubles, apparatus for determining the group composition of petroleum products and digital conductometer (about 500 thousand Rubles). Now the central laboratory can also check three more indicators of kerosene quality: aromatic hydrocarbons volume ratio, thermal stability and specific electrical conductivity.
- Our enterprise produces jet fuel RT for subsonic aircrafts, - says N. Avdokhina, the Head of the Central Laboratory of the enterprise. International laboratory "InterTechService", where we send the samples for the check, verifies our results.
At "Orsknefteorgsintez" fuel passes three levels of control. The product is checked for the compliance with the requirements of GOST, then it's examined by the military representative - a person independent of petroleum refiner. And there have never been differences between tests made by the central laboratory of the enterprise and the military representative.
Only four enterprises in the country produce jet fuel RT - "Orsknefteorgsintez" (Oil and Gas Company "RussNeft"), Permsk refinery (Oil and Gas Company "Lukoil"), Novokuibyshevsk and Syzran refineries. On January 1, 2009 the Government of Russia introduced the technical regulations "On the requirements to motor and aircraft gasolines, diesel oil and marine fuel, jet fuel and residual oil". There appeared additional requirements to the quality of jet fuel. And jet fuel RT produced at Orsk refinery is in exact accordance with them. Today "Orsknefteorgsintez" produces up to 300 thousand tons of jet fuel RT per year.
This product is also good for the European liners.
