Izhevsk. OAO “Belkamneft” started at the production facilities “Viatka” of Oil and Gas Production Department-1 complex tests for putting into operation of an oil sludge salvaging plant . The total sum assigned for construction of the sludge salvaging plant amounted to 38.9 million rubles. Its design capacity permits to process up to 50 tons of oil sludge per day.
As the report says, the plant was designed by specialists of OAO “Belkamneft” together with Project Designing Institute “Promproyekt” at the basis on new salvaging technology which permits quick processing of oil sludge preventing its ageing. Besides, it gives the possibility to give up construction, exploitation and further liquidation of sludge tanks. This technology of salvaging was patented.
Design and survey works connected with construction of the plant were started in 2005. In 2009 start-up works were finished and all the permissions and approvals necessary for exploitation of the plant were obtained.
The work of the plant will start with salvaging of oil sludge accumulated at Viatka area of Arlanskoye oilfield. In future it will provide service for the Southern group of oilfields of OAO “Belkamneft” – Novoselkinskoye, Pogranichnoye, Yershovskoye, Rusinovskoye, Zapadno-Yelnikovskoye, Severo-Nikolskoye, Nikolskoye, Kamskoye, Kambarskoye, Okunevskoye, Oreshnikovskoye. Its zone of service will also include a part of the central group of oilfields – Zabegalovskoye, Vostochno-Postolskoye, Buranovskoye.
After putting the second plant into operation all the sludge from the oilfields developed by OAO “Belkamneft” will be salvaged in good time which will permit to obtain additional quantities of commercial oil and minimize negative impact on the environment.
The total sum assigned by “Belkamneft” for implementation of ecological measures in 2008 amounted to more than 944 million rubles, underlines the report.
OAO “Belkamneft” is a subsidiary of “RussNeft”. The company was incorporated on April 30, 1997 as ZAO )Closed Joint Stock Company) “Belkamneft”. In 1998 it was reorganized as OAO (Open Joint Stock Company).
