OAO “Belkamneft” introducing new efficient oil production technologies permitting to reduce wells watering almost three times
Izhevsk. OAO “Belkamneft”, a producing subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft”, (RUSN01), is introducing new efficient oil production technologies using two-packer equipment for reduction of wells watering, says the report of "RussNeft".
In spring 2009 "Belkamneft" started using technology of the company "Packer" for blocking off watered intervals. The new technology permitted to abandon frequent and expensive squeeze jobs; minimize the time of wells repairing. Besides, while squeezing jobs, applied earlier, resulted in reduction of watering from 70% to 50%, using two-packer assembly permits to recude watering to 27%.
Extra production from the moment of undertaking geological and engineering measures in May-June 2009 amounted to 269 tons of oil.
The group of companies "Belkamneft" includes OAO "UNNC", OAO "UNC", OAO "Udmurtgeologia", OAO "Uralskaya Neft". Production output of "Belkamneft" in 2008 reached 3931,32 tons of oil.
