During the 5 months of 2009 energy payments at "Orsknefteorgsintez" were reduced by more than 1.7 million rubles.
OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez - a subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft”- developed a target program covering concrete steps in the sphere of applying power-saving technologies at a refinery.
In particular, introduction of variable speed drives at pump stations and air-cooling units (ACU) permits to save up to 20% of energy. Power saving only on 19 ACU drives per year results in the sum of about 1.5 million rubles. In 2006-2008 at ONOS there was mounted a number of new generation uninterruptable power sources which permit to supply power to technological units more smoothly, without falters or deviations in parameters.
Besides, using of natrium lamps for light fixtures reduced the quantity of energy consumed for lighting 2-3 times. In 2009 it is planned to save more than 860 thousand rubles this way.
ONOS introduced a new certified system of commercial power accounting “ECOM-3000”, which permits to work up precise prognoses and plans of power consumption at the refinery and require minimal prices to be paid for it at the wholesale market. During the five months of the current year energy payments were reduced by more than 1.7 million rubles.
