Ulyanovsk. Only in the first half of 2009 1708 power tubes and 3950 pump rods were repaired.
OAO "Ulyanovskneft" cis carrying on repair works and revision of downhole pumping equipment. The wores are being done by a third party, which won the tender in the end of the last year.
The criteria for selection included a whole complex of the works to be done: misalignment, defectoscopy, pressure integrity test, replacement of collars, identification and passports, close territorial location of production factlities and the reasonable price of repair works. For the purpose of economy delivery and shipping of the downwhole equipment to be repaired is performed by the vehicles of OAO "Ulyanovskneft".
By the results of repair works in the first half the oilmen point out reduction of the amount of well repair works connected with breakage of pump rods and failures of power tubing.
