"RussNeft" has invested 15 million Rubles in the inert gas production plant at "Orsk Refinery"

"More than 15 million Rubles have been invested by "RussNeft" in the tooling of the inert gas production plant (at "Orsknefteorgsintez") with new scrubber. Scrubber is a column in which cooling and combustion of flue gas, which is then converted in inert gas, take place. Inert gas is used not only for technologic purposes but is a part, and that is really important, of the industrial safety maintenance at any oil refinery. It is said in the report, that blowdown of facilities and equipments with inert gas before the start of the repair works, provides lack of explosive concentrations of vapor and gas.
Capacity of ОАО "Orsknefteorgsintez" makes 6,6 million tons of oil per year.
“RussNeft” structure encompasses 21 extractive enterprises, two refineries, transport company, and also distribution network of gas filling stations. Annual production of the Company makes more than 14,2 million tons of oil.
