"Aganneftegasgeologia" started drilling at Mogutlorskoye oilfield
Nuzhnevartovski District, KhMAO-Yugra. OAO MPC "Aganneftegasgeologia" (a subsidiary of "RussNeft") started operational drilling at Mogutlorskoye oilfield. According to the information received by "UralInformBiuro" from the press-service of the MGC, drilling of the first deviated well is perofrmed at well pad No 17. Under the project its depth will be more than 3 kilometers. On the total, befor the end of February, 2010 the company will have drilled at the oilfield 6 deviated wells with sidetracks up to 1.5 km. They will open up oil-filled strata of formation ЮВ-1 and ЮB-2. OOO "RussNeft-Burenie" is a general conrtactor for construction of the wells, drilling works are being done by "Varioganskaya Nefteburovaya Kompania".
Mogutlorskoye oilfield has been in operation for 10 years. In 2008 well No 288-П was reactivated. During tests at formation ЮВ-1 there was obtained a flow of pure oil with average daily flow rate of 80 tons. At present three wells are functioning here.
It is planned that putting the wells into operatioon will enable the company to increase daily production by more than 400 tons. In future implementation of the program for operation drilling at Mogutlorskoye oilfield will be continued.
