In 2009 "RussNeft" is going to drill 5 new wells in the Central oilfield of Udmurtia

Izhevsk. It is said in press-release of the Company that in 2009 Oil and Gas Company "RusNeft" (RTS: RUSN) is going to drill 5 new wells in the Central oilfield of Udmurtia with an average capacity of 47,5 tons per day.

At the moment the first well is being drilled. By the end of 2009 it's planned to put into operation 4 other wells. As a result of well-drilling the prospective incremental ultimate recovery will make 32,773 thousand tons of oil.
Besides, in the I quarter of 2010 "Russneft" is going to put into operation three new wells in Kambarskoye oilfield of Udmurtia with an average capacity of планирует 35 tons per day. Due to their operation the incremental ultimate recovery will make 26,529 thousand tons of oil.
It is said in press-release, that the commissioning of new upstream assets should partially compensate reduction of crude oil output in the oilfields of "Belkamneft", which are in late development phase, and will also allow to perform tax liabilities and social commitments of the Company.
"Belkamneft" is engaged in production, gathering, transportation and sales of oil and associated gas produced in the oilfields situated on the territory of the Udmurt Republic, the Republic of Bashkortostan and Kirov Region.
