OAO "Ulianovskneft" is replacing the pipeline at Verkhozimskoye oilfield
Ulianovsk. OAO "Ulianovskneft", an oil-production sudsidiary of OAO NK "RussNeft", is replacing the pipeline at Verkhozimskoye oilfield. At present 80% of work at Verkhozimskoye - replacing an old metal oil collection pipeline with a new one - is already done. The company is planning complete reconstrucion of the pipeline in the near future.
The new pipeline will feature two units for measuring corrosion speed, which will permit to determine the efficiency of the reagent used and to choose the optimal rate of travelling of the fluid.
Putting the new pipeline into operation at Verkhozimskoye oilfield will enable the Company to reduce the cost of hydrocarbons, improve logistics and provide observing ecological standards and oil transportation industrial security requirements.
