Ulianovsk. In 2009 "RussNeft" assigned more than 25 million rubles for geological and engineering works at "Ulianovskneft", says the report of the press-service of "RussNeft".
According to the predictions of geologists from "Ulianovskneft" the geological and engineering works will result in growth of oil production at Oil and Gas Production Department "Severnoye" by 22.4 thousand tons.
Within the frames of geological and engineering works at Novobesovskoye oilfield it is planned to make operating well No 12 500 meters deeper in order to effect supplementary exploration of Devonian horizon, confirmation of oil-bearing contour and potential growth of its flow rate.
The report says, that one of the efficient works effected at OGDP "Severnoye" is reperforation of the existing horizons by up-to date, deep penetrating charges increasing density shot in the housing pipe. This measure will permit to reduce skinfactor, i.e. to improve connection of the horizon with the well and to increase oil production at the oilfield.
