Saratovneftegaz celebrates the anniversary of the start of development works in Stepanovskoye gas-condensate field

This field put new life into the Soviet District and its center - village Stepnoye. The Soviet District is the major addressee of the beneficent help of oil workers. This summer children from the needy families were sent to the recreation camp of "Saratovneftegaz". For this purpose there was given 350 thousand Rubles. In the village Stepnoye "Saratovneftegaz" has built three children's playgrounds. In some acting playgrounds there were installed new recreational facilities.
Sport is also under the patronage of the oil workers. "Saratovneftegaz" has invested 500 thousand Rubles for the construction of sports and recreation center with the swimming-pool. There was also repaired physical culture school for children and teenagers and provided gaming equipment.
The workers of "Saratovneftegaz" participate in rehabilitation of the village park. For this purpose the personnel of the enterprise has given their one-day earnings in the amount of 820 thousand Rubles. The park was named after Gennady Luzianin, who was the Director of "Saratovneftegaz" for more than 20 years.  
Except charity, "Saratovneftegaz" takes part in realization of program "Ecological rehabilitation of Soviet District 2007-2010".
The enterprise completes work on biorecultivation of oil wastes in sludge tank, which is situated in the Soviet District. This will reduce emission into the atmosphere of pollutants. This year there's carried out reconstruction of Stepanovskoye gas compressor station. This will allow to increase volume of gas deliveries to the consumers, to increase utilization of associated gas and thus improve environmental situation in the District.
On the whole this year "Saratovneftegaz" and its subsidiary enterprises have provided sponsor support to the Soviet District in the amount of 2,4 million Rubles.
