"Aganneftegasgrologia" paid 1.2 million rubles to indigenous people of the North.
Nizhnevartovsky district, Yugra. OAO MPC "Aganneftagasgeologia" (a subsidiary of Oil and Gas Company "RussNeft") assigned more than 1.2 million rubles for compensatory payments to indigenous people of the North, for the company is producing oil at their tribal lands.
The sphere of industrial interests of "Aganneftagasgeologia" encompasses eight tribal lands. In 2009 the Company assigned to the families of traditional mode of life 1 million 219 thousand rubles. The assignment was made within the frames of social and economic agreements on compensatory payments connected with industrial development of Nizhnevartovsky District.
As "Uralinformbiuro" was informed at the press-center of the Company this is not the only form of financial support rendered by the oilmen of ANGG to the indigenous people of the North. Within the frames of the agreement with the administration of Nizhnevartovsky District "Aganneftegasgeologia" rendered targeted charity help to comprehensive school and kindersgarten "The Fawn" of national village "Variogan" and allocated financial means for national festivals.
