100 years from the date of birth of one of the founders of “Saratovneftegas”
Saratov. At OAO “Saratovneftegas” (an enterprise of the company “RussNeft”) there was held a function dedicated to the 100th jubilee of an outstanding figure of Saratov oil and gas branch, I.I.Yengurazov, one of the founders of “Saratovneftegas”. Veterans and employees of the enterprises of Saratov oil and gas complex, young specialists of “Saratovneftgas” and students of geological college of SSU took part in the event.
Ismail Ibragimovich Yengurazov (1910-1961) was the first geologist of “Saratovneftegas” and the discoverer of Yelshanskoye oilfield, holder of Stalin premium of three grades, Cavalier of the Lenin order and the Order of Labor Red Banner.
“We are extremely grateful to founders and veterans of our enterprise – geologists, drillmen, developers – all those who made their contributions to making up of the oil and gas branch of Saratov Region, who set up the basis for our successful work nowadays – said the Deputy General Director for human resources and social matters Andrei Kazbekov. My opinion is that the interconnection of several generations of oilmen and gasmen, transferring of precious work experience from veterans to the young played an important part in development of Saratov fuel and energy complex “
At “Saratovneftegas” they pay special attention to veterans. For example, honored workers of oil and gas branch a numbered among the members .of the Expert Council at the Center of Innovations of OAO “Saratovneftyegas”, founded in 2009. To perpetuate the heroic labor of the pioneers of Saratov oil and gas branch “Saratovneftegas” has for many years been supporting the social committee “Saratov FPC” by maintaining museum complex “Oil gas and energy” in Saratov and sponsoring joint events.
