Izhevsk. OAO “Belkamneft”, a subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft” became the winner of the concourse among the enterprises and organizations of Udmurt Republic which have made a substantial contribution in industrial safety, environment protection and energy safety. OAO “Belkamneft” won in the nomination “For high level of culture in the field of industrial and ecological safety and implementation of innovative projects unique for the region”.
At the ceremony of presentation of diplomas Deputy Chairman of the Government of Udmurt republic Ildar Bikbulatov and Deputy Director of Western Ural Department of Russian Technical Supervisory Authority gave a high assessment to the activity of the company in the sphere of industrial safety and underlined the oilmen’s contribution in implementation of ecological projects of the region.
The company annually puts into operation new objects fully meeting the modern requirements of ecological safety. Among such objects there are the oil pipeline “Viatka-Ashit” featuring underwater crossing of the Kama river. The pipeline is built using the unique technology of slanted drilling, and the technology “pipe-in-pipe” applied for implementation of the project permitted to minimize the risk of oil products getting into water. Besides, in 2009 the company successfully put into operation at the production basis of “Viatka” an oil slum utilization unit. The experts of the concourse noted that putting into operation of the new objects and introduction of up-to-date equipment permitted to bring the activity of “Belkamneft” plants in 2009 to the new level of industrial and ecological safety.
