“Aganneftegasgeologia” may double its oil production with putting into operation new wells in 2010.

Khanty-Mansiisk. OAO “Multi-profile Company “Aganneftegasgeologia” (Nizhnevartovsk, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug) intends to drill at 4 license areas in KhMAO 16 wells in 2010 within the frames of exploitation drilling, says the message from “RussNeft”.

In particular the company is going to drill 12 slanted wells at Roslavlsky, Chukhlorsky, Yeguriakhsky and Mokhtikvsky license areas, and 4 wells with horizontal wellbores.  
The average depth of the wells will exceed 3000 meters. Putting the new wells into operation will enable the company to substantially raise oil production up to 1,9 million tons.
According to the company’s data annual production of the JSC is 1 million 45 thousand tons of oil, thus, having put the new wells into operation “Aganneftegasgeologia” can raise annual oil production by 1.8 times.
Intense construction of three exploitation wells, among then a horizontal one is being carried on at Yuzhno-Roslavlskoye, Vostochno-Golevoye and Mokhnikovskoye oilfields, says the press-release of the company. The company has   licenses for development of three subsoil areas which encompass eight oilfields: Zapadno-Mogutlorsky license area (Zapadno-Mogutlorskoye, Mogutlorskoye, Vat-Yeganskoye, Severo-Pokachevskoye, Zhilinskoye oilfields), Roslavlsky license area (Roslavlskoye oilfield), Chukhlorsky license area (Yuzhno-Roslavlskoye and Chukhlorskoye oilfields).
In 2007 the company obtained an exploration license for Amputinsky subsoil area.
From April 2007 the company’s production is consolidated within the structure of NK “RussNeft” (RTC: RUSN) (owner of 15% of the shares of Aganneftegasgeologia”.
