"Saratovneftegas" implementing new equipment for difficult wells
Saratov. At well No 18 of Vostochno-Suslovskoye oilfield of OAO "Saratovneftegas" an electric centrifugal pump unit of size 3 was put into operation. The pump unit was designed by OAO "Novomet", one of the leading companies at the oil services market. The new equipment helped specialists of "Saratovneftegas" to find a sucessful solution of the problem of operation a narrow columned well.
An electric centrifugal pump unit is designed for work in the wells with minimal inside column diameter 100 mm, the size of the pump together with the cable is 95 mm. The cascade of the pump is made with the use of powder technology and it results in high geometric precision and upgraded characteristics of work with gas-liquid mixture. In case of necessity in the wells with high gas factor the units may be equipped with multi-phase pumps.
This kind of equipment was applied in the oil branch of Saratov Region for the first time. The specialists of "Saratovneftegas" are planning further implementation of the units due to which they can achieve good results in work with difficult wells.
