OAO "Belkamneft", a subsidiary of OAO NK "RussNeft" summed up the results of the annual inspection-concourse of labor protection and industrial safety.

Izhevsk. The concourse, which has become a tradition with the company, was held for the fourth time. All the operating departments of the company participated. During all the year the departments' work in the field of labor pritection was being assessed according to such key determinants as occupational traumatism, accident rate, occupational diseases, observation of the standards and rules of industrial safety, fire safety, training and instructing of employees.

The concourse committee headed by the General Director of OAO "Belkamneft" Yuri Fedorov gave the first prize to Oil and Gas Production department No 1 (NGDU No 1) .
"-The company pays special attention to the problems of labor protection and industrial safety. Annually we assign millions of rubles for improving labor conditions, training and upgrading of our employees" , - said the General Director of OAO "Belkamneft" Yuri Fedorov. "- This is not only our insurance against accidents, but our investments in the personnel. Safety of our employees' work is the basis of social responsibility of "Belkamneft". The annual inspection -concourse enables us to assess the efficiency of our work, to reveal and eliminate any drawbacks".
In 2009 at the plants of the group "Belkamneft" there was introduced the System of Industrial Safety, Environment and Labor Protection Control, meeting the requirements of the Russian legislation, international standard ISO 14001: 2004 and international specification OHSAS 18001:1999
