OAO "Neftemaslozavod" in 2009 reduced operating costs by 50 million ruble by abandoning purchase steam
Orenburg. OAO "Neftemaslozavod", a subsidiary of NK "RussNeft" (RUSN01) in 2009 reduced operating costs at the account of cutting expenditures for electric power which amount to more than one third of the constant expenditures of the plant, says the report of the company.
Abandonment of purchase steam became the first stage of the process (steam is used as a heat-transfer medium in the course of technological operations). Purchased steam was to be replaced by the plant’s own source of steam. In 2009 “RussNeft” assigned funds for purchasing two mobile steam-generating units for OAO “Neftemaslozavod”. Considering the constant growth of price for energy carriers use of in-house produced steam gave in 2009 a considerable saving in costs, in amount of more than 50 million rubles a year and besides, permitted to use energy resources and manage technological processes more rationally.
In 2010 “Neftemaslozavod:” goes on implementing the anti-crisis program aimed at reduction of operating costs, increasing profitability of sales and search for new markets of finished product sale.
